The Ammunition
Design is primarily about representation in context. Representation is always politically co-ordinated to abide to the context of the representator's reality.
This reality is a subjective cognitive construct,
it consists of lies and truths and it can transform and conform.
The end-consumer who, by applying a design to his/her reality, appropriates the represented message to suit his/her identity, is also a designer. Design is conspicuous end-consumption of itself. The primary cognition of the world that pre-exists in the consumer-designer's subconscious constitutes an archetypal brand of reality in whose context the new design is already old.
